From The Studio
Hello and Welcome to my Studio,
It has been a dream of mine to find a way to keep in communication with all the wonderful collectors, friends and colleagues I have met during this artistic journey. So, I have started this monthly newsletter to do just that – to keep you apprised of all my monthly comings and goings in the art world; new paintings, openings, showings, demonstrations, articles, museum shows, print releases and anything else that I feel may be of interest to you.
I would like to announce that I have a brand new studio. I have been fortunate enough to create the studio space I have been dreaming about for my entire career. After three months of renovation and construction, it is so nice to be able to wake up with coffee in hand and walk just a few steps to work each morning. Soon, I look forward to stroking my horses, paint brush in hand, and having all that I love in one place again. I’ve always dreamed of being able to open the doors to my studio and having my horses right there to help me create my new work, either as models, muses or just creative inspiration.
Currently, I am working on creating some new paintings to send to Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, Arizona. In Santa Fe, I am represented wonderfully by Blue Rain Gallery– a relationship that I’ve enjoyed for the past four years. I recently had the opportunity to add an Arizona gallery to the mix so I have happily taken one on. Tucson is bustling in the winter months so I am very grateful for this new relationship with Mark Sublette and Medicine Man Gallery. Blue Rain Gallery also just opened a beautiful new space in downtown Durango, Colorado and I am happily showing there as well. My next solo exhibition will take place at Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe July 12 - 26, 2024. Stay Tuned!
I am also gearing up for my second year as a featured artist at the Masters of the American West Show at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles. This is one of the most storied and prestigious shows in the Western art circuit and I am beyond honored to have been invited to participate. Masters of the American West runs from February 10 through March 24 but the main event and Art Sale evening is February 24. I will be one of only sixty artists who have been asked to participate and I will have four paintings in the show.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the various events and exhibitions around the country. In the meantime, I will be at home in my studio in Santa Fe busy creating new paintings while also getting ready for all the summer horse shows. I wish you and yours all my very best.
Sincerely,
